Blythe Winchester (Eastern Band Cherokee) is a potter, fabric designer, and writer. She is the owner of BW Creations. Winchester holds degrees from Davidson College, UNC School of Medicine, and UNC School of Public Health and began learning pottery in 2019 from Tara McCoy.
She is a 2024 graduate of Dinedi Eginelv and has studied handbuilding, sculpture, and wheel techniques of pottery and ceramics. She enjoys incorporating traditional methods and designs into modern styles of pottery. She is a member of the Qualla Arts and Crafts Mutual, Inc., Cooperative.
