Samantha Bradley

Samantha Bradley is a member of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians and serves as the Western Region Director for Sunrise Community for Recovery and Wellness, where she  works as a North Carolina Certified Peer Support Specialist.  She brings a grounded, lived-experience perspective to the behavioral health field as a person in long-term recovery from substance use and mental health challenges, with leadership focused on expanding peer-led, wellness-focused programming across rural Western North Carolina while ensuring that people with lived experience have a voice at every level of systems of care, “Nothing about us, without us.” Guided by Cherokee core values: Tohi (Peace/Balence), Gadugi (Community), and Duyugodv (Right Path), her work supports healing that restores hope, dignity, and a sense of belonging.
