Sharon McCoy (Eastern Band Cherokee), aa member of the Wolf Clan, has been working in the medium of beadwork for over fifty years. As a young child, McCoy learned the art form from her mother—first learning daisy chains and loomed bracelets. As she developed her skills and unique style, McCoy’s work has earned multiple awards and ribbons.
In addition to beading, McCoy also enjoys sewing. She currently lives in the Wolftown Community of Cherokee, North Carolina.
